International Admissions

As a proud internationally minded school, international students at Plymouth College have a thoroughly enriching experience and are integrated into school life with a wealth of opportunities, a sense of collective purpose, shared fun and mutual respect. With more than 30 different nationalities, Plymouth College is truly international, bringing real energy and diversity to our community.

Finalist for Independent School of the Year awards 2020 - International Student Experience

We're delighted to be named as a finalist for the Independent School of the Year awards 2020. Our entry for the International Experience category has been recognised as showcasing some of the best support of any independent school in the UK and we are extremely proud of our entire community.

Plymouth College has partnerships with Educational Agents in many countries and is happy to receive applications or organise a visit to the School.

We have an Agency Agreement and, before we ask Agents to sign this Agreement, we request references from two schools that the Agency has worked with in the UK.

Agents wishing to place a student at Plymouth College are requested to send the following information:

  • Name and date of birth of the student
  • Address and contact details
  • Copies of last two school reports with an English translation if necessary
  • The term and year the student would like to join us, e.g. Autumn Term 2020
  • The course they would like to study, e.g. GCSE/A levels/Sport Baccalaureate
  • The length of time the student will be looking to join Plymouth College

International students are assessed in English and Mathematics and students wishing to join the Sixth Form may also be tested in some additional subjects, depending on their choice of subjects.

Before an offer letter is sent to the family, we will request a reference from the student’s current school and the Agent’s assistance in this matter is much appreciated.

Please send applications to our admissions team: [email protected]
