Senior School Wellbeing

During this term and the third lockdown, we have seen a plethora of well-being activities to ensure that the entirety of our Plymouth College community are taking the time to look after their mental wellbeing, as well as pupils working incredibly hard during their remote learning and the whole community coming together to conquer Mr Mutlow’s Evolution Expedition!

Since we have been back from half term, we have had the continuing of Mrs Byrne’s Self Care Challenges, which will continue until we can get back to the classroom. This week, we have seen challenges such as taking yourself away from your screens, assessing your goals and aspirations and even making sure you have a self-care evening with a face mask and foot spa!

We also have our YogaHub instructor, Zoe Drake, who has kindly been providing us with 20 – 40 minute yoga sessions that you can do at home to get some time away from screens and take a moment for your physical and mental well-being. Here is this week’s yoga session that can access at any time via YouTube:

These are only small things that you can do as you take a study break or settle down for the evening, but by practising self-care, we can protect our well-being to its utmost.
