As part of their Food and Farming topic, Plymouth College Preparatory School's Year 2 classes have visited Tesco.
After learning about varieties of fish, the children explored the fruit and vegetable department searching for a range of coloured items to make a rainbow coloured trolley. The children then learnt about the origins of some common fruits and vegetables.
Cheese-tasting proved a popular activity and before leaving, the children experienced what it was like to be in a freezer!
