Year 1 enjoyed a fun-filled day at Wembury Beach learning about respecting natural habitats and living things.
Their Seashore topic was enriched with creating ‘beachcomber faces’, a scavenger hunt, constructing dams and waterfalls and diverting small streams of water flowing across the sand to the sea. The children demonstrated skills required for group tasks: cooperation, leadership, communication, problem solving and compromise.
