This Thursday, we got to celebrate World Book Day with our Plymouth College Prep pupils. Whether our pupils have been remote learning or in school with our teachers, our pupils got to dress up and celebrate reading and their favourite books!
Our prep pupils of all ages have been commemorating World Book Day by reading their favourite books to us and a massive well done to all of them as they read so so well!
Whilst some of our infants have had loads of fun telling us about their favourite books and reading them to us, Year 1 incorporated our World Book Day theme of 'bubbles' into our maths lessons. Our Year 3 and 4 pupils listened to Mc Grammar and tried to work out how many children's books had been mentioned in the rap. The children were then set a scavenger hunt to find items or themes in books that they had read. Prizes will be awarded to all pupils when we return to school on Monday!
