Staying at a Chateau in Normandy, the Year 6s enjoyed a trip to France that was packed full of sight-seeing and fun activities.
Mont St Michel, Arromanche 360 where the story of the Normandy landings is told, Bayeux Cathedral and Tapestry and the British Cemetery were just some of the interesting places they visited. The children also swam at St Lo, learned some circus skills and, of course, did plenty of shopping!
“The Year 6 French trip is always eagerly anticipated,” said Plymouth College Preparatory School Headmaster, Chris Gatherer. “It is a great experience and gives the children a chance to see first-hand some of the places they have learned about in lessons at school.”
