Year 8 pupils at Plymouth College have showcased their talents in a lively whole year group performance.
‘Never Wear the Same Socks Twice’ is a play based on the Commedia Dell Arte style of theatre that originated in Italy and preceded pantomime in Britain. Characterised by slap stick humour and innuendo, the Year 8 pupils worked together to produce the play. Everyone had a role as either an actor, designer, lighting technician or musician to create a total theatre experience.
Head of Drama Jayne Ashenbury, said: “It was a great show full of energy. I am very impressed by what they produced. Congratulations to them all - it was fun!”
