Gemma Kerr, Lower Sixth, played for England in the Home Nations. She was selected as part of a 12 strong squad - 2 males and 2 females for each category (seniors, juniors and cadet).
In the team event, Gemma and her partner Erin beat Wales 5-0, Isle of Man 5-0, Guernsey 5-0, Scotland 4-1 then lost to Ireland 2-3. They finished gaining a silver medal.
Gemma then went on to play in the individual event. After getting through the rounds, Gemma and her partner Erin came up against the Irish girls in the semi-finals. They both won to make it an all England final. They both played well, but Gemma came away victorious - getting a gold medal to add to her team silver!
Congratulations to Gemma for such a brilliant performance and for not dropping a game all weekend!
