Loaves of bread, boxes of cereal, tins of soup and baskets of fruit and vegetables were just some of the many food items the children at Plymouth College Preparatory School brought in to the Harvest Festival service.
Held in the school chapel, the children did readings such as John Betjeman's Inexpensive Progress and lots of singing. They remembered those less fortunate than themselves in their prayers at the end of the service.
All the food was donated to the homeless charity, Shekinah Mission.
