The Under 13 Rugby Sevens team battled hard to significant success in the 2015 Rosslyn Park national tournament just before the Easter break.
After a very promising 15s season, the players focused on adapting their skills to the different tactics demanded by the faster game, with a squad of 10 earning selection for the mini London tour.
After a tough first match against one of the strongest schools in the country, the boys rebounded with impressive performances against their next two opponents to finish second in the pool. Oscar Boyhan Irvine proved deceptively difficult to tackle while Harry Knape used speed and guile to outpace opponents. The team was strongly captained by Peter Colam.
This was the most successful result at Year 8 level for many years. The future looks good.
