Plymouth College performance swimmer, Felicity Passon, has been named Seychelles Young Female Athlete of the Year. This is the second year running the 16-year-old has been awarded the accolade.
Last summer Felicity packed in some of the world’s top competitions including the World Championships in Kazan, Indian Ocean Island Games on Reunion Island, World Junior Championships in Singapore and the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa.
More recently Felicity has broken a Seychelles senior record at the Luxembourg Euro Meet. Also in that competition, Elle Ussi, 13, won youth gold and bronze medals in the 200m and 800m freestyle, while Darren Lim, 17, took junior gold in the 100m freestyle. Jessica Jackson, 18, claimed a senior bronze in the 100m freestyle.
