Ten members of the Plymouth College community took part in the Plymouth Half Marathon last weekend. The event saw nearly 5,000 runners take on the scenic 13.1 mile route that started and finished on Plymouth Hoe.
Coming in first for the school was maths teacher, Andy Norris, who was 1st in his age category and 10th overall in an impressive 1:16.34. First Plymouth College lady was Jaz Buxton from the Foundation Office in 1:39.58.
Also competing were students Bizzie Dinnis and Lizzie Fearnley, along with staff Owen Nicholls, David Prideaux, Kat Murray, Bethany Davey, Mike Hands and Stephi Juckes. Lizzie raised £260 for Children’s Hospice SW while Mike raised more than £500 for the Special Care Baby Unit at Derriford.
