Congratulations to Year 7 pupil, Oscar Piper, on his recent trampolining success. In September, Oscar competed at the British Trampoline and DMT championships in Birmingham and came second nationally on trampoline and second nationally (by 0.1 of a point) on DMT (Double Mini-Trampoline). Oscar has now been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Championships in Russia next month. This will be his second world championships!
Oscar has just returned from Loule, Portugal, after representing Great Britain in the trampoline and DMT Loule Cup. He won Gold in the U14 team event and silver in the individual DMT event. These are Oscar’s first GBR international medals and the first GBR medals for gymnastics in the county’s history!
Oscar competes again for Great Britain at the junior World Championships in Russia next month. We wish him the best of luck!
