Last week’s Contingent Commanders Challenge was a success! Due to the rain the 'wet weather plan' was almost implemented, which was to carry on as planned and get wet! The cadets, as always, got stuck in to the events and a strong positive attitude was shown by all. The activities included a Casualty Evacuation that required the team running with the 'casualty' (a car tyre on a tent sheet) to complete two laps of the field. This tied in with the Casualty Assault Course where the team carried the casualty over a river crossing command task, through a muddy ditch and other obstacles. Less strenuous was the water bomb throw, blindfolded weapon handling and of course the axe throwing! As usual with the axe throwing the girls came out on top!
