Ben Miller, Year 11, competed in his first competition of the new trampolining season this weekend. The competition was in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is only held every two years. Top junior trampolinists across Europe compete, using it to hone routines to use in their national championships and international competitions later in the season. Many of the trampolinists taking part are members of their national teams.
This year it featured trampolinists from 17 countries from all over Europe and the Americas and over 400 competitors in all! Competing in the 15-16 age group, Ben qualified in the top 8 to make it through to the final of his group. In the high pressure final, he held his nerve sufficiently to win bronze!
