The 69th ESSA Inter-Division Team Championships was held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March at K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley.
The team swam very well and five Plymouth College swimmers competed for the South West. It was an extremely close team competition, with the South West coming 2nd overall, just a point behind the winners!
Sophie Freeman picked up 4 gold medals in the 400m IM, 200 Fly, 100m Fly in the Intermediate Category, as well as the Open Mixed Medley Relay, and 2 silver medals in the Intermediate Freestyle and medley relays.
Finn Broekhoven won 2 silver medals in the Junior medley and Freestyle relays.
Lana Broekhoven won gold medals in the Open 400m IM, 200m Breaststroke, medley relay and the mixed medley relay as well as a silver in the 100m Breaststroke.
Reid Jones won two golds in the Open medley and Freestyle relays.
And finally James Hart picked up a gold in the Open Freestyle relay, a silver in the Intermediate 400m Freestyle and two bronze medals in the Intermediate 400m IM and 200m Freestyle.
Congratulations to all who took part and, of course, the coaching team for another impressive set of results.
