Megan Shorey, Year 10, and Molly Shorey, Year 7, both had great podium finishes in the National Championships in Switzerland in February. They then went on to Austria for 3 weeks of intensive race training leading up to the British Championships last week in Tignes, France.
In training the girls were fast and making great gains, until disaster struck when Megan’s ski pre-released at speed causing her to crash and resulting in a complete break to her right Femur. She is now recovering well back at school, and we all wish her a speedy recovery at Plymouth College.
Molly went on to the British Championships alone and came away with solid top 10 finishes in a hugely competitive field.
