Academic Round Up of Plymouth College Senior School

We've had a wonderful week in our senior school lessons this week! We've had an array of practicals and workshops taking place in our lessons and here is what some of our classes got up to...

Classics

Our Year 7 pupils learnt all about Greek Gods and Goddesses this week and dressed up in order to illustrate all of the different Gods and Goddesses in Greek Mythology. This also gave our pupils the chance to learn about the Roman Gods as well! 

Science

In biology, our Upper Sixth class were able to see a dissection of a heart and lungs and see for themselves how the heart and lungs function. 

And in chemistry, our Upper Sixth pupils had fun in their practical lesson and learnt about the oxidation of ethanol.
