Year 2 spent a day enjoying the sights and activities at Buckland Abbey just before the end of term.
Once the home of Sir Francis Drake, the children dressed in Tudor costume and explored the house. They listened to stories of sea voyages, pirates and Drake defeating the Spanish Armada.
It was a most enjoyable day out.
