Tom Mumford, 15, will play his heart out this weekend as he battles for a place in the U16 South West rugby team. Currently vice captain of Devon, Tom is one of 70 from around the region invited to take part in a selection camp at Bryanston, followed a week later by a tournament at Wellington College. From here 40 will go through to form a South West squad.
Devon U16s have had a great season, winning every game in a recent four-county tournament. Tom was one of 13 from the team invited to Bryanston. Also part of the Plymouth College senior rugby squad, Tom is an Exeter Chief Academy member and a former U15 Devon captain.
