Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed a visit to Langage Farm recently. After a tour of the factory and tasting yoghurt, the children were set the task of inventing a new ice-cream flavour.
Lydia Barnes and Megan Tanner created the winning flavours - Haribo-inspired from Lydia and cheese cake with chocolate chips from Megan! These ice-cream flavours were put into production for a limited period and sold locally. The girls won ice-cream and gateaux for their families.
Following all this excitement the children stretched their legs on a walk to the farm where they saw the cows and the milking parlour.
