Six Year 7 pupils who have done well in Plymouth College's exciting new merit system, ePraise, have been rewarded with a special lunch at the Headmaster's house.
Over the last year pupils have been able to accumulate points leading to bronze, silver, gold, double gold and platinum merit badges. Points are spent in the online shop, donated to charity or count towards prize draws. Some of the top scorers qualified to have lunch with the Headmaster, Dr Wormleighton.
Peter Walker, Vicky Vincent, George Hadjiyiannakis, Chloe Gayton, Bertie Ratsey and Rebecca Newcombe were joined at the special meal by ePraise founder and maths teacher, Dr Norris.
"It was a delightful and memorable occasion with exquisite food, discussion of the year's highlights and topped off with cheesecake and Lindor chocolates," said Dr Norris. "It was a real treat to have lunch in such lovely surroundings and we were all a little reluctant to leave for afternoon lessons! It was a fitting climax to a year celebrating the efforts and high achievement of pupils at the school."
