Grace Atwill, 15, has been selected for the South West of England U15 girls’ rugby team. The Plymouth College pupil gained her place after a successful trials day where she was assessed on her skills, fitness and game play.
A member of Exeter Saracens, the no.10 fly half has played for Devon for the last three years. As part of the South West squad she will play matches against other regions, attend boot camps in Bournemouth as well as a summer camp.
Grace has been at Plymouth College since Kindergarten and played in the boys’ A team when she was at the Prep. She is also a talented netball player.
“I’m really pleased to have made the South West team,” said Grace. “I’ve been playing rugby since I was seven years’ old so this is a great opportunity to take it to the next level.”
