Plymouth College’s House Drama competition never fails to disappoint – it was a night of fantastic performances and creativity!
With a Christmas Carol the theme for the evening, Sargents kicked off the night with a novel performance that saw the cast wearing cardboard cut-out faces of Plymouth College staff, including their very own Miss Tremaine; spookily realistic! Chaytors’ chav production was an equally creative twist - innit! Palmers took us back to a Victorian Christmas Carol with a great Scrooge performance by Robin Willoughby, which won him Best Actor. Dales’ Christmas Carol told of an evil Santa Scrooge, Grinch Marley and a Snowman Ghost. Elf Cratchit, aka Pyper Savage, won Best Actress.
Dales took 1st place, followed by Chaytors 2nd, Palmers 3rd and Sargents 4th.
The evening was topped off by a staff performance of... Scrooge! And a return of Mrs Undy as the Ghost of Christmas Past. A thoroughly entertaining evening - well done to all.
