The Lower Sixth enjoyed an enrichment week in the final week of term. There were a mix of sessions focusing on the UCAS process, life at university, budgeting and choosing a suitable course post 18. The week also included a mental health awareness session, a webinar about EU universities, visiting speakers explaining about US colleges and sport scholarships, as well as gap year projects. Staff ran workshops on psychology, public speaking and ‘sommelier’ training (where pupils refined their palettes by tasting seven different waters and learning about ‘terroir’). A very enjoyable week and one which benefited all!
