This week has seen so much going on in and out of the classroom and even though the evenings are getting colder and darker, there are nothing but smiles and laughs for all of our extra-curricular activities!
Curricular Activities
German
Our Year 7 German pupils have this week started a link with the Year 7 pupils at Grimmelshausen Gymnasium in Germany. They have been writing letters to their new pen pals and have received letters back! We hope to be able to speak to them live on the etwinning platform very soon but in the meantime, we will be making short videos and sending our Christmas wishes from Plymouth College.
Geography
Our Year 13 geographers have had fun completing their coursework and have been completing diagrams and other pieces of work following their trip at the beginning of term to Dawlish Warren, which will contribute to their Non-examined assessments for their Geography A level.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Sports
Our extracurricular sports and activities were in full swing this week at the Senior School! We had hockey and rugby as well as a range of other team activities taking place on the school field and underneath an incredible sunset! This photo sent in from Mrs Riley-Harling says it all!
Outdoor Education
Our Outdoor Education has been nothing short of exciting this week! We've had our Sixth Form taking to kayaking in River Dart and our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expeditions going ahead. Our Year 10 pupils continued their navigation training in preparation for their 2 day expedition next summer.
