Kelly College 17 – 47 Plymouth College.
The Plymouth College 1st XV stretched their season-long undefeated run to twelve with a clinical disposal of old rivals Kelly College.
Played at Plymouth Albion but treating the match as a home fixture, Plymouth set their intent early on, with some good pressure, converted into points by scrum half Harry Stephenson with a quickly taken penalty five meters out.
The match continued as it had begun, with Kelly never posing any real threat in attack. Tries came from captain Phil Beak, Abdullah Hamza, Anthony Comyn, Tom Burrell, Jamie O’Gallagher and Ben Tolan. Jamie converted five of his six attempts and James Burke got one from one.
It was a solid performance that got the job done, but the boys were disappointed to concede a slack try in the last phase of play. Joss Pinsent was the man of the match.
