The sun came out for Year 2 when they visited Plymouth Hoe recently.
It was such a clear day that the children could see all the way out to Eddystone Lighthouse from the top of Smeaton’s Tower. Afterwards they walked around the Hoe looking at and learning about the war memorials, Drake’s statue and the memorial garden.
When the children got back to school they did a piece of writing about the trip and produced paintings in the style of Brian Pollard with Smeaton’s Tower in it.
