Fathers attending a special Father's Day assembly at Plymouth College Preparatory School were treated to a rousing rendition of 'Father Abraham' in aid of charity.
The children were sponsored to sing the song to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and to help with Simon Adam's pledge to raise £1million for the charity. OPM rugby club chairman, Simon, was diagnosed with the disease last year and came along to the assembly to hear his favourite song sung.
Headmaster, Chris Gatherer said: "One of our pupils, Chloe Honey, came up with the idea of the song. The children had been practising really hard all week and their performance didn't disappoint. We have pledged that all fund-raising activities for the rest of this term will go towards this worthy cause."
