Rugby World has honoured the Plymouth College 1st XV's unbeaten record with its 'Team of the Month' accolade.
When the snow and ice brought everything to a halt at the end of last term, the team, sponsored by chartered surveyors, Monk & Partners, were in the top three of the national schools rugby league, through to the final of the Devon Cup and in the latter stages of the Daily Mail Cup.
With team members Henry Slade in the U18 England squad, Charlie Maidment securing a place with the U19 Scottish Exiles and Tom Mumford selected to the U16 South West squad, the 2010-2011 season is proving to be one of the best yet.
