Just weeks after claiming the top spot in the European Championships, diving sensation and Plymouth College pupil, Tom Daley, has taken the British 10m platform diving crown.
Held in Sheffield where he was runner-up to Pete Waterfield last year, Tom finished more than 100 points ahead of his synchro partner in the individual competition. His comfortable win has confirmed his place in London 2012. Pete has also been selected. In the synchro, Tom and Pete took gold and set a new British record, officially securing their partnership place in the Olympics.
Tom's diving has been on top form in recent months - he won the World Series in April as well as the European Championships in May.
"I'm loving diving at the moment", said Tom. "I'm doing the best diving of my whole career. Knowing that I'm diving well going into the Olympic Games is a great feeling."
