Year 1 pupils at Plymouth College Preparatory School have been able to watch the butterfly lifecycle 'first hand' in their classroom this term.
They watched the tiny, painted lady caterpillars grow and change into pupae. Two weeks later the lovely butterflies emerged and the children were delighted to be able to release them into the school garden.
