Exeter sculptor, James Lake, came to Plymouth College recently to run a workshop on creating skulls from recycled cardboard.
The session was for Year 10 and Year 12 art students. Clark Nicol, Plymouth College Head of Art, said: "Not only has this broadened their understanding of structures and thinking in three dimensions, but it has also made a considerable contribution to their coursework folios."
James returned a few days later to follow up and take students on to the next stage with their work.
