Year 1 classes at Plymouth College Preparatory School have visited Burrator Reservoir on Dartmoor as part of their topic on water.
Having previously been to Wembury Beach to learn about the sea, this part was all about where water comes from and its journey to our taps at home. As well as looking at the reservoir and the dam, the children also walked along Drake's Leat.
Back at school the Year 1s have been learning about boiling a kettle and water evaporation. The next section of this topic will see the children visit the National Marine Aquarium.
