The Year 2 classes at Plymouth College Preparatory School have visited Riverford Organic Farm.
After learning about lots of different fruits and vegetables they went on a bumpy tractor-trailer ride. The children picked cherry tomatoes in the poly tunnels and got very muddy in the process!
The following day in school they cooked and ate their very own delicious tomato and basil soup. The children enjoyed this enormously and have hopefully been inspired to cook at home. The aroma of cooking soup wafted down the corridors tempting everyone.
