Plymouth College pupils, including members of the school's Future Council, have helped to plant trees in the city's Central Park.
Organised by Plymouth City Council, local businesses and the Plymouth Tree Partnership, the initiative involved school children from across the city.
Trees being planted in the park, which is walking distance to Plymouth College, included an Eastern species of Elm. This tree is resistant to Dutch Elm disease, which caused the loss of Plymouth's famous Elm avenue in the park.
