Plymouth College's Classics department have hosted a Latin reading event. Pupils from the school were joined by Latin scholars from Devonport High School for Girls and Devonport High School for Boys.
Plymouth College's team were Henry Loxdale, Olivia Adams, Kevin Vandabona, Annabel Norris and Emil Agobiani. They read passages in Latin from a speech by Cicero and a ghost story by Pliny. As well, retired Plymouth College Classics teacher, Bill Fisher, gave a talk about the Altar of Augustan Peace in Rome.
