The annual Sixth Form Quiz proved another great success with 20 teams of 6 competing for the coveted trophy.
Organised by the Sixth Form Social Committee, QuizMaster Mr Shields posed questions on Sport, General Knowledge and Celebrity, before the inevitable picture round. The key tactical decision of the night was when to play the team Joker.
The cream of the Sixth Form rattled their brains to come up with the capital of Morocco, the title of One Direction's new album and the name of the 2012 Olympic mascots. In the picture round, Nick Clegg was mistaken for... all kinds of people, while Mr Ashfield was mistaken for Dizzie Rascal!
The overall winners at the end of the evening were 'Five Golds and a Bronze', made up of Luke Dickinson, Jason Van Der Schouw, Callum Cload, George Haslem, Will Ashfield and Tom Daley.
Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Ed Beavington, said: "It was a fantastic evening, highlighting what a great, friendly and positive Sixth Form we've got!"
