Plymouth College sixth former, Francesca Del Celo, 16, has won a bronze medal for Great Britain in the 3m springboard synchro at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival. She finished just outside of the medals in 4th place in the individual 10m platform event.
The reigning 3m synchro Junior European Champion, Francesca moved to Plymouth College as a boarder in September where she is part of the school's elite athlete programme with Plymouth Diving. This allows her to train with Tom Daley's coach, Andy Banks, while at the same time receive the support and flexibility needed to keep up with her A level studies so that she can achieve the best she can both in diving and in the classroom.
