
Plymouth College has won Good Schools Guide Awards 2012 for the best point score for boys taking Business Studies and Economics at A Level and the best point score for girls taking Business Studies and Economics at GCSE.
Featuring in the English Independent Schools' category of the prestigious guide's awards, Plymouth College has previously won awards for Art and Design (Photography) and Art and Design (Graphics).
"We are delighted to have received these awards", said Business Studies and Economics teacher, Jonathan Shields. "They endorse the on-going success of Business Studies and Economics at Plymouth College, which has seen the top student in the country in this subject at GCSE, A Level and DipFS on a number of occasions in recent years.
"We enhance our classroom studies with participation in competitions such as Young Enterprise, Brightest Business Brain, Student Investor, Make Your Mark and Social Enterprise Awards to name just a few. Our students have won 13 national titles in the last decade, which is a fantastic record."
