Plymouth College athletes Tom Brooker, John Alao and Poppy Tank have clinched titles at the Devon Schools' Athletics Championships. Tom (pictured) achieved a new PB for high jump (1m 65), John won the shot put with a throw of 13.23m and Poppy won the 3000m in 11min 05.19s.
All three now go on to represent Devon at the South West Schools' Championships on Saturday 15th June, along with Emily Ackford (3000m). John is also reserve for the 100m relay team. Other notable performances came from Max Wright (4th triple jump), John Alao (4th 100m), Ben Hoolash (4th high jump), Coral Hays (7th 800m) and Tia Simms-Lymn (8th high jump).
