Plymouth College diver, Victoria Vincent, 12, has triumphed in her first international competition which saw her win three gold medals. Representing England in the Trofeo Niccolò Campo - Roma per Bimbingamba, Victoria had a clean sweep winning the 1m, 3m and platform events.
Held over three days and involving more than 140 athletes from France, Germany, Holland, Georgia, Croatia, Italy and England, Victoria competed in category C for divers up to 14 years old.
Her form tutor at Plymouth College, Phil Mutlow, said: "Victoria was the only diver in the whole competition to score 9s, a remarkable achievement considering she still has at least another year in her age group and she is not used to diving in an outdoor pool. We are all very proud of her."
Victoria is part of the school's elite athlete community and trains with Plymouth Diving.
