The Autumn term has kicked off with a flurry of selections for Plymouth College athletes.
Swimmer, Katarina Blanco, 16, (pictured) will represent Chile in the South American Games next week. The event is being held in Peru and will see athletes compete across 17 sports.
Meanwhile fencer, Kerrie Johnson, 14, is heading to Sheffield to compete for Northern Ireland in the Sainsbury's 2013 School Games. The competition involves 12 different sports and 1600 competitors.
Closer to home Abbie Ingram, 13, has been selected to the U15 West of England hockey team. She will take part in a tier one competition this month and if successful, will go to the HIPAC England Residential Camp at half term.
In equestrian news, Isabelle Joce, 15, has won a place at the British Horse Society Autumn Convention with Yogi Breisner, World Class Performance Manager and Chef d'Equipe to the British Eventing team. Isabelle will be put through her paces on her horse, Incy, doing flatwork and jumping.
