Plymouth College's whole school merit system has rewarded four pupils with a trip to the Dartmoor Otters and Buckfast Butterflies Centre. Victoria Vincent (Year 8), Nicholas Dworznikowski (Year 8), Katie Mabberley (Year 9) and Lauren Lee (Year 10) gained the most e-praise points last year. Their prize included a chance to feed the otters.
Launched last year, e-praise allows pupils to accumulate points leading to bronze, silver, gold, double gold and platinum merit badges. Points are spent in the online shop, donated to charity or count towards prize draws. At the end of last term, some of the top scorers had a special lunch with the Headmaster, Dr Wormleighton.
