The House spirit was very much in evidence during the recent Prep School House hockey matches.

Although Downton put Wantage under a lot of pressure in the first half, Annabelle Bryce got through the defence and scored a goal. In the second half, Wantage dominated the match with Annabelle scoring two further goals and Evie Gerson scoring one. Downton did have two shots on goal but they were saved by Alice Tustain.  Final - score 4-0 to Wantage.

Sellon got off to a very fast start against Pusey with Kate Saxby scoring early on. She was ably supported by Isabel Tanner and backed up by Arpitha Abraham.  They went on to score a further two goals putting Pusey under a lot of pressure.

In the second half Pusey changed round their positions pulling Lucy Rees back into defence, which was the change they needed. Lucy shut down all further attacks by Sellon, helped by some excellent goalkeeping by Poppy Vernon, giving their forwards the chance to attack the goal.  This was a very successful strategy and Connie Shepard, Lavanya Panwar and Lana Broekhaven all scored bringing the final total to a draw at three all.
