The latest Upper School Production, Histrionics, was a highly entertaining evening.
The fine portrayal of characters such as Pyramus and Thisbe from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and Estragon in 'Waiting For Godot' were brought to us by seasoned actors on Plymouth College's stage. Will Hambly and Ollie Roberts were stars of the show, alongside Laura Brown, Robin Willoughby and Maya Salt to name but a few.
The comedy extracts spanned four centuries and each one was matched superbly by costumes of the period made by Mrs Williams and her able team of Year 10 textile students. 'Between Mouthfuls' is Alan Ayckbourn's play from 'Confusions' that is set in 1970. All four actors gave splendid performances. The comedy was heightened by Ollie Dinnis as the waiter (not always intentionally!) and this was a true highlight of the evening.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved.
