On Devon County finals day, hosted at Shebbear College on Wednesday 19th June, Plymouth College faced the hosts in the first T20 semi-final and posted an impressive 164-2 with Will Scott-Munden (84 not out) and Ben Privett (47 not out). Plymouth College took to the field and bowled Shebbear out in convincing fashion for 49, with Freddie Grassam claiming 3 wickets and Ollie Smith and Will Scott-Munden 2 wickets each.
Plymouth College were matched in the final against Uffculme School, who themselves had managed an impressive win over Torquay Boys' Grammar School in their semi-final. Plymouth College were put in to bat and produced a real team effort, amassing 163-9 off their 20 overs (Will Scott-Munden 63 and Ben Privett 34). Fielding and bowling needed to be excellent to win, and indeed it was, bowling out the opposition for 114 in the last over. Wickets were shared around 8 different bowlers showing a real team effort. Congratulations to all that played - the future looks strong for Plymouth College cricket.
