Thank you to Mr Mutlow for the following twitter updates! @MrMutlowPMC
"After a long a tiring journey, Plymouth College Cricket Development Tourists arrived safely in Colombo. There were so many exciting things to see, but traffic definitely isn’t quite the same as on Dartmoor!
It was a wonderful Day 2 in Sri Lanka for Plymouth College Cricket Development Tourists, with a win in their first fixture v Nondescript CC in Colombo. A beautiful venue and a super game. These experiences are what touring is about. On to Kandy tomorrow.
Day 3 on the ground in Sri Lanka for the Development Tour. Today saw a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary and the journey into the hills for our stay in Kandy. Game Day 2 tomorrow.
Another superb day in Sri Lanka for Plymouth College cricket tourists today. Opportunity to play at Asgiriya International Stadium, the venue for Sri Lanka’s first ever win in Test Cricket. A brilliant experience for the boys today, playing at Pallekelle International Stadium - a current Test Venue - where England played last year. On to Borderlands tomorrow for adventurous activities.
Wonderful opportunity to experience Borderlands over the past 24 hours. Canyoning and Riverside experiences enjoyed by all.
Brilliant day today playing the Foundation of Goodness. We visit the Foundation itself tomorrow to see first-hand the life changing work that is going on to improve communities in Sri Lanka.
Plymouth College Cricket tourists visited The Foundation of Goodness to learn more about the moving and inspirational work that they do. In the words of the Foundation: ‘Goodness is the only investment that can never fail.’
The final day of the Sri Lanka tour saw the boys visit Galle Fort and the International Cricket Stadium. Wonderful tour, wonderful country and a real shame to have left so soon."
