Year 1 children at Plymouth College Preparatory School have been learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly. As part of the project, they had a number of chrysalises to watch over in class.
After waiting patiently for a couple of weeks, the children were delighted to watch the butterflies emerge from their cocoons. The children released them outside and were really happy to see the beautiful painted lady butterflies flying in the school garden.
