Year 3 pupils at Plymouth College Preparatory School have spent a day in the life of a Roman soldier.
Run by a ‘Roman Centurion’, the workshop saw them dressed in traditional costumes. They got the chance to have a close look at weapons and armour as well as more day-to-day items like plates and bowls.
The children then donned helmet and shields and went into battle!
